Invitation to Attend
Over 500 planners, educators, officials and students will come together in Darwin for the Planning Institute of Australia 2009 National Congress. Will you be there?
Darwin is a fast paced, multicultural city and is the meeting place for the 2009 National Congress ‘Northern Exposure – exploring new horizons’. We invite you to join us as we explore the latest planning solutions around Australia and look at transit oriented developments, governance and regulatory reform, climate change and extreme weather, cyber cities, intelligent and green buildings, economics of development, social inclusion, infrastructure and much much more.
Our site tours will showcase Darwin and the Northern Territory and will include major infrastructure projects, CBD developments, Aboriginal culture and rural aquaculture incorporating significant rural subdivisions.
The Congress is being held at the new Darwin Convention Centre from 30 March – 2 April 2009.
So head north with us and allow yourself to explore new horizons – you will be amazed at what you discover!
